Service Description
🌈 Mess Therapy is a calming, mobile, sensory paint party. A creative sensory experience designed for all ages and abilities—especially those who thrive with hands-on exploration but may become easily overstimulated in traditional party settings. This session is all about freedom, gentle guidance, and mess-making. We bring a variety of soothing textures, colors, and sensory materials—like slime, orbeez, feathers, kinetic sand, foam, and paint—and let guests explore at their own pace, in their own way. 🧠 We prioritize sensory comfort and individual choice, so your guests can feel safe, supported, and creatively free. 🎨 Base price is for 6 people and includes: -Sensory tent setup + teardown -11x14” canvas per guest -5 non-toxic paint colors (UV paint available upon request) -Sensory materials: slime, orbeez, kinetic sand, feathers, foam & more -Tools: brushes, rollers, spray bottles, scoops, sponges -Protective gear: ponchos, boot covers, goggles (optional to wear) -Bluetooth speaker (your choice of music, quiet instrumental, or no sound) -Soft, color-shifting LED lighting or traditional white lighting based on guest needs -15-minute welcome/setup, 60 minutes of creative exploration, 15-minute cooldown 👥 Need more room to riot? Add up to 2 more guests (8 total max) for $25/person -Just include the final guest count in your booking notes—we’ll send a separate invoice 🧸 Sensory-Friendly Customization: We understand that everyone’s needs are different. In your booking notes, feel free to let us know if you’d like: -Low or no music -No UV paint or blacklight use -A quiet, individual introduction instead of group instruction -Slower pacing or regulation-friendly transitions ⚠️ Please note that while our paints are nontoxic, they have the potential to stain clothing and this experience is VERY LIKELY to get messy. So please dress for the mess. 🎪 Tent Setup Details: -Requires a flat, outdoor space at least 20x20 feet -Includes tent, flooring, tables, LED calming lights, temperature control -Self-contained power source included—no outlets required
Cancellation Policy
To secure your Paint Riot party, we require a 50% deposit at the time of booking. This deposit confirms your reservation and allows us to prepare your customized experience. The remaining balance is due no later than the day of your event. We require a minimum of 30 minutes prior to your scheduled party time for setup, and up to 60 minutes afterward for cleanup and takedown of our riot-ready paint tent and materials—please ensure your space can accommodate this window. If you need to cancel your event, we ask for at least 7 days’ notice to receive a full refund of your deposit. Cancellations made with less than 7 days’ notice will result in forfeiture of the deposit, as we’ve already started prepping for your party. If you need to reschedule, we’re happy to do so at no cost with a minimum of 72 hours’ notice. Rescheduling requests made less than 72 hours before your party will incur a $50 rescheduling fee, and rescheduling is subject to availability. We get that life happens, but we also put a lot of prep into your riot—so thanks for helping us keep things fair and fabulous. If you have any questions before booking, don’t hesitate to reach out.
